Ridgeview Middle School PTA is proud to award scholarships to a deserving RMS alumnus. Students wishing to be considered must meet the eligibility and application requirements listed below and submit their application prior to the deadline.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

A.  Applicants must have attended Ridgeview Middle School for three (3) years.

B.  Applicants must be a graduating student from a Round Rock Independent School District high school, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
C.  Applicant must be a member of the local PTA/PTSA at the school where s/he is currently enrolled. 
D.  Applicant's name must be on the current membership list and recorded in the Texas PTA State Office at the time of the application submission.
E.  Applicant must be accepted to, and plan to be enrolled full-time, in an accredited college, university, junior college or trade school for the summer or fall semester immediately following his/her high school graduation.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

A.  Submit a complete application no later than March 31 to be eligible for consideration.  Any application received after March 31 will not be considered.

B.  Incomplete or illegible applications will not be eligible for consideration.

C.  Additional information submitted with the application, other than the listed requirements, will not be considered in the evaluation process.

D.  Each application will be considered for the Ridgeview Middle School PTA scholarships.

E.  The scholarship recipient will be notified in writing by second week in May and will be awarded the scholarship at the 8th Grade Promotion ceremony and/or at the recipient's High School Senior Awards Night as appropriate.

F.   Scholarships will be awarded in the student's name and will be sent directly to the higher education admissions office.
